In the fifth day of the youth exchange „New opportunities for people with disabilities“, the participants from Turkey, Macedonia and Bulgaria had the opportunity to explore local centers, working with people with disabilities and see their practices.
In the morning, they visited the special educational support center „P.R. Slaveikov“, Pleven. The headmaster of the center gave the participants in the youth exchange a tour and explained their practices.
The participants also had an official meeting with the mayor of Pleven – Georg Spartanski. He welcomed them in the manicipality in order to give them a better overview of all the opportunities that the city of Pleven and its suroundings offer to the people with functional diversities. The mayor and his collegues were so kind to welcome the group for a beneficial discussion on the realated to the topic of the youth exchange issues that people living in this region meet on daily bases. Mister Spartanski made out very clear points in which the municipalty is very well holding up and the future projects and ideas that they are working on for improvment of the facilities and opportunites they provide to and are going to offer in the near future.
In the evening, North Macedonia had the opportunity to share their culture in the last intercultural night.
